19th March 2020 – Prince Siegfried and Odette are nesting again. After the disaster last season of having seven eggs stolen from two nesting sessions when they were located in a garden bed on the grassed foreshore area, the couple have moved to Grassy Point, opposite the Gippsland Lakes Yacht Club.

On Good Friday, 10th April 2020, five cygnets hatch. The next day a further cygnet is hatched. Prince Siegfied and Odette were successful with six of seven eggs hatching, the final egg sadly was not viable.
