The website and our social media platforms document these magnificent water birds as well as share some of the swans experiences. “Paynesville Swans” is essentially a geographic area that black swans have made their home and sanctuary. We have been documenting swan families in the Paynesville area which includes Sunset Cove, Butler Point and Dawsons Cove (Newlands Arm).
Paynesville Swans have a strong community following, are an integral part of the lakes, and tourists are delighted to see and interact with them.
Jacob and Penny are the ‘most photographed’ black swan couple in the area and are regarded local celebrities.
