1st September 2019: Jacob and Penny’s cygnets Cobie, Siggy, Seth and Janessa are 7 days old. This series is the continuation of Jacob and Penny Nesting Again Post and will follow the family’s journey on the foreshore and lake at Paynesville. Jacob has marked a large territory around the pier.

3rd September 2019: Jacob, Penny and cygnets Cobie, Siggy, Seth, and Janessa hanging around the grassed foreshore area this afternoon.

5th September 2019: Jacob, Penny and their beautiful cygnets Cobie, Siggy, Seth and Janessa.

8th September 2019: Visited Jacob, Penny and their cygnets Cobie, Siggy, Seth and Janessa and was surprised to find them on the other side of the Esplanade. It was a real difficulty getting them to cross back to the lake side with impatient and inconsiderate car drivers! They made it back and spent some time on the lake.

9th September 2019: On the other side of the Esplanade again!

10th September 2019: Jacob, Penny and their cygnets Cobie, Siggy, Seth and Janessa.

12th September 2019: Jacob, Penny and their cygnets Cobie, Siggy, Seth, and Janessa have been exploring. They crossed the Esplanade from the lakeside wandering along the footpath. We ask motorists to be patient and very cautious as they do take some time wobbling across the road!
